The outlined group you belong to. A kin of five holds 1 to 5, a kin of three holds 1 to 3. No number twice in the same kin.

Your kith

Every cell you touch — sides and corners both. No number may sit beside its own kind. On the board it is a dot, so it survives greyscale and crosses a kin outline.

The line

Close a kin and it draws itself.

When the last number lands in a kin, its inner hairlines dissolve and a line is drawn through the cells in order — 1 to 2 to 3. The group stops being a patch of colour and becomes a figure you can read.

Three kin are closed here. Finish the grid and the eight lines join into one continuous route across it.

Monday is gentle. Sunday you sit down for.

The line the card carries is not the one you played. In the app a line traces the order you filled a kin, which would give the whole solution away. What leaves is the route: the order you closed the eight kin, an eight-point path that is unique to you and reveals not one digit.
